Show tappers appers reminded of bounty law 0 in accord with the law which governs the bounty return to trappers for the skins of the animals they catch a control board was formed som time ago to pass on the affidavits submitted by the trappers the tha board consists of floyd W nielson leland redd and thomas jones of blanding with representatives in each of the three county areas charles redd bedd in the la sal area kenneth S summers monticello monti cello area and alma redd blanding area the law provides for the trapper to report to the representative of the district in which he ps taking with him the skin th ih three of the feet left on and to io make affidavit his affidavit is is passed on by the local represents after which the tha trapper must report to the control board at blanding which in turn will pass on the fur presented and the affidavits fi of the trapper and the area representative the trapper must then present this affidavit to the county clerk I 1 who sends it to the state auditor by bi march 1 the return bounty checks will be sent to the trappers who comply with the law as described above the furs are returned to them f for or their own use or for further disposition the control board will meet on the first tuesday of each month at the home of the tha sicre secretary tary thomas A jones from a m throughout the day to inspect the furs and receive the affidavits of the trappers to accommodate trappers who have furs to offer now the board will also meet on saturday morning dec 18 it is hoped this information will reach the trappers of the county immediately in order that they may follow the procedure outlined and receive their affidavits for presentation to the control board on saturday |
