Show AUTUMN PROGRAM I 1 USHERS IN MIA WORK I 1 0 by isabelle redd tuesday evening the MIA autumn festival and first nighter ball held the spotlight in the church in the receiving line were bp L frank redd and H lloyd hansen with mrs redd and mrs hansen who greeted each guest after a little time spent in friendly con the program got under way H lloyd hansen offered the opening prayer then followed a vocal trio little glow worm rendered by edith lyman flora nielson and hazel dawn kissel accompanied on the piano by I 1 madolyn evans next in order was a trio by ann E hyde alice burr and mary evans after the ball accompanied by tom evans and lavern lavein jensen with the mandolin and guitar this number was well received as it revived a bit of the music of yesteryear yester year as it were daian jones of blanding presented two fine vocal numbers playing irs hs own piano accompaniment the ruth bailey chorus accompanied by madolyn evans sang two numbers 01 ol 01 carolina cand and fetes of f the autumn the hall was beautifully decor rated with autumn fruits and flowers program suggestions for the winters season of activity were on display in unique manner with the names of those in charge these activities will feature religion music literature and recreation rea tion the evening closed with social dancing to the music of the blanding orchestra |
