Show san juan high by miss gene young excitement ran high at the san juan high school this week when stanley lamb received definite word that he had been chosen all tournament forward on the second team we quote from the sun advocate of price utah stanley lamb brilliant bland ing forward made the unusual record of ten consecutive free throws beginning with six against vernal and adding four more again against st huntington before one finally rolled off the wrong side of the hoop stanley went to school in california the past two years but came back to san juan for his senior year he started out the basketball season with enthusiasm and soon began to show pro promise mise of a real ball player he was chosen as captain of the team and has done his work well leading the team to many victories during the season although he is the smallest on the team ee he has shown by his expert playing that size does not always count his playing at the rou roand nd rob in was well liked and he with the rest of the team has waitee patiently to see if he would rate all conference he is the first player from san juan to receive this rating and the whole school is proud indeed to have him as a member of their student body work on the pinion the san juan high school yearbook is progressing swiftly this is the second year book to be published in the school all the work is being done by the students under supervision of mr biggs andars and mrs neilson the pictures which take most of the time and money are taken and developed by argyle redd and sherman black their dirk dark room for developing is a hole under the public school building where they turn out on the average of 2000 pictures a w week eek the rest of the staff consists of lillian lyman as editor and representatives from every class as copy writers typists etc ANYONE WHO MISSES THE JUNIOR PROM AT BLANDING MARCH 25 IS GOING TO MISS THE STAR DANCE OF THE SEASON |
