Show Xidawright There are definite rules of Wardrobe Etiquette that every woman should learn if she is particular and wants to look well dressed. Of these certain rules, as fashion veers off into various directions, di-rections, one must expect to compromise com-promise and yet keep them in mind only to maintain good taste. Many of these rules are broken constantly for example, the wearing of anything that sparkles in the daytime, such as rhinestones and similar materials are taboo. Also, high heels with slacks or sport outfits, or vice versa, sport shoes with dressy clothes. Believe me, this is done a lot too. Never, accessories all one color, for example, ex-ample, hat, shoes, bag, and gloves all the same. Only two should be the same color, hat and bag, or gloves and hat, or shoes and bag. Jewelry should always match, and never wear more than three pieces at one time. One needs to acquire ac-quire a sense of fitness, and if there is any doubt about anything, don't wear it. Beware of fads too, for they never last long and are a poor investment. Also, to be distinctive distinc-tive in dress, one does not appear in the little eye-catchers that every one is wearing, and which make it a fad. Remember, as it had been wisely said, 'Fashion is a twist of good taste a fad is over-done fashion.' |
