Show AFFAIRS BID FAREWELL TO Z. Y. EREKSOriS One of the loveliest of the affairs af-fairs honoring Mrs. Erekson was a tea at the home of Mrs. Ray Curtis on Cottonwood Lane when the Cottonwood stake Relief Society So-ciety board and presidency entertained enter-tained her. To the affair were invited all ward workers and teachers as well close friends, relatives rel-atives and her former .co-counselors. One of the highlights of their imminent departure was the arrival arriv-al of their son, Klenner and his family, from North Carolina earlier ear-lier this week. The occasion was celebrated by a reunion and birthday birth-day dinner Monday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William B. Erekson, Erek-son, the missionaries' parents. Mr. and Mrs. Z. Y. Erekson, who are scheduled to leave Saturday for Sidney, Australia, were guests at numerous luncheons and dinner parties prior to their departure. Among the hosts and hostesses were Mr. and Mrs. Wayne L. Shaw, Mrs. Davis Brinton, Mrs. Meryl Despain, Mrs. Virginia Rideout, Mr. and Mrs. G. Carlos Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Holmes, Mr. and Mrs. Heber Peterson, Mr. and Mrs. Ne-phi Ne-phi Reich and Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Ber-nard Brockbank. Entertaining at family parties were Mr. Erekson's brother's family, fam-ily, the William S. Ereksons of Butler. Mrs. Erekson's sisters were also hostesses, Mrs. Clem Toone and Mrs. W. G. Salisbury, for parties. President and Mrs. Erekson will leave Saturday accompanied by their younger sons, Allen and Thomas. Their flight schedule calls for a short stop in San Francisco, two days in Honolulu, the Samoan Islands and Sidney, the journey's end. |
