Show ST. 'ARM'S LADIES Ifj DETOTIOf! The Ladies of St. Ann's Parish, 330 East 21st South, met last Tuesday immediately after lenten devotions, with Mrs. John De-Benard De-Benard giving the opening prayer, after which the groups sang a hymn conducted by Mrs. E. G. Hamilton and accompanied by Mrs. Donald Dewar. Mrs. H. S. Harmon, chairman of the sick committee, announced cards had been mailed to four members who were ill. Mrs. Rulon Sanders, professional milliner, demonstrated methods of making old hats into new styles and displayed new hats, explaining explain-ing materials used. A bit of humor was added to the hat making when Mrs. Hamilton, program chairman, had several of the ladies model hats they had made. A prize was awarded Mrs. Paul W. McNiel for having the funniest fun-niest hat designed of crocheted hot pads, salad forks, paring knife and bottle mop. Mrs. McNiel received re-ceived a dainty handkerchief for her novel creation. Communion Sunday for Ladies of St.. Ann's Parish was March 8 at 7:30 Mass. |
