Greenig, 3729 Fifth East, and Maurine Whit-aker, Whit-aker, 19, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene T. Whitaker, 1215 Windsor Wind-sor street, are the first young lovelies love-lies to enter the Miss Sugar House contest Richard W. James and Mrs. Frankie Nielson, in charge of the contest, said entries, either by the candidates themselves or sponsoring organizations, must be made by June 15. The judging will be conducted con-ducted that week. Entry blanks may be obtained at any Sugar House store, they said, or by writing to the Sugar House chamber of commerce, 2007 McClelland Mc-Clelland street. Candidates for queen are to b'e between the ages of 16 and 24 and single. For the first time two princesses will be chosen and will be selected from the 12 to 15 year age group. |
