The wedding cake was cut by Elizabeth Lee and Marie Ohashi. i I LOIS BLACKIIAM BECOMES BRIDE The Centenary Methodist church was the scene of a lovely wedding December 12, when Lois Virginia Blackham became the bride o Larry G. Olsen. The vows were spoken with Reverend H. Robert DeLancey officiating. Dr. Walter Teutsch, professor of music at Westminster college, was at the organ and Joan Robinson, roommate of the bride, sand "O Promise Me" and "The Lord's Prayer." The bride was attended by her sister Elsie Carol Blackham as maid of honor, and Patricia Olsen, sister of the groom, as bride's maid. t Neil Olsen, cousin of the groom, was best man, and Dick Bradley clilu xvcupn munisun aciea as usn-ers. usn-ers. The bride is a daughter. of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Blackham of Ruth, Nev. She is a student' at Westminster Westmin-ster college where she is a member of the Girls' Glee club, Stevenson Memorial Scholastic society, Sigma Pi Alpha, and is at present organist at Centenary Methodist church. The groom is a graduate of Westminster West-minster college, where he was president of Intercollegiate Knights and Foster Hall. He lettered in football at the college. At present he is in the service and is stationed sta-tioned at Fort Ord, Cal. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Olsen of Logan. Following the ceremony a reception recep-tion was held in the lounge of Ferry hall, Westminster college. Mlarcia Johnson and Shirley Rhodes, members of the college faculty, were in charge. Maurine Morley and Mrs. Elaine Knight presided , |
