Show UTE SHO-DE-0 SCHEDULES GALA AFFAIR The annual Ute Rangers Sho-De-O is. scheduled for the nights of June 19 and 20 at the Fairgrounds Fair-grounds in Murray The program will include Salt Lake Post Office band which will open the show, eight pony Holland Furnace hitch from Cleveland and which has performed in the Madison Madi-son Square Gardens; a drill by the Utah wing of the Civil Air Patrol team; Silver Spurs, ladies drill team of Salt Lake county which is the outstanding ladies drill team - of the west; Arabian costume event with all Arabian horses; Miss Joyce Atwood will perform with her famous fa-mous trick riding; a square dance on horses with the riders in glittering glit-tering uniforms will be given under un-der black lights. There also will be the usual western west-ern fetes of calf roping, cutting class, barrel races, western pleasure pleas-ure class and junior western pleasure pleas-ure class for boys and girls. A pony with saddle and bridle will be given. The Sho-De-O organization offi-' offi-' cers are N. N. Hetherrington, chair- man of the event, and A. Fred Dipo, Holladay president of the Ute Rangers, Phil Nielson, Sandy, vice president. The group is composed of 75 riders rid-ers and form the Utah state highway high-way patrol and all members belong be-long to the Utah state council of defense. They have invited a group of 50 from the Veterans hospital to be guests at the show. |
