Show S. E. Furniture Store Celebrates Birthday Month long promotions and celebrations cele-brations have been carried on at the South East Fruniture store during Sept. and their 30th anniversary. an-niversary. Open house and parties have been held four nights, Tuesday, Sept. 11, Thursday, Sept. 13 and Sept. 18 and 21st. 10,000 invitations invita-tions were extended for each evening eve-ning to customers of the firm. Birthday cake and punch were served during the open house and more than $1,000 in prizes were awarded during the affair, including, includ-ing, beauty rest mattresses, GE vacuum cleaners, rugs, rockers, hams, throw rugs and pillows. During their 25th anniversary they opened their new store, and coming on their 30th anniversary was remodeling, re-decorating, enlarging facilities, again expanding expand-ing in keeping with their slogan, "Young enough to be progressive old enough to be reliable." "The Southeasterner," the company com-pany monthly magazine, was included in-cluded with each invitation. The magazine, edited by efficient Peggy Gunderson, secretary of the firm, was an outstanding anniversary anni-versary issue. The magazine featured fea-tured a section in pictures of the 158 employees of the firm .... showing its growth through the years. The company has received much acclaim as a store, and also brought much to Sugar House. |
