Show Ceremony Honors G. A. Smith The late LDS President George Albert Smith will be honored by the National Society of the Sons of Utah Pioneers Sunday at the SUP Museum, 2998 Connor street, in a program from 2 to 5 p. m. A newly carved bust of the beloved be-loved church leader will be unveiled, un-veiled, according to Horace A. Sorensen, president of the SUP. George Albert Smith was the first dignitary to sign the SUP Museum guest book when it opened, it was reported, and he gave his every effort to the promotion and expansion of the rvreat Pioneer project. Mrs. Emily Stewart, daughter of the late church president, will be among the honored guests at the unveiling. The program lor the afternoon will highlight many of the outstanding out-standing narratives and events of George Albert Smith. The public is invited. |
