Show Regiment, He entered the Army in January 1955 and arrived in Europe in September of that year. Robert L. Shelton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Shelton, 2S33 Mill-creek Mill-creek rd., recently was promoted to specialist third class at Washington, Wash-ington, D.C., where he is a member of the 9901st Technical Service Unit at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Specialist Shelton, a clerk, entered the Army in November 1954 and received basic training at Fort Sam Houston, Tex. His wife, Maxine, lives in Tacoma Park, Md. The 23-year-old soldier attended West High School. Army Warrant Officer Ray E. Koch, son of Mrs. Zella L. Koch, 658 E. Seventh So., recently was assigned to the 12th Disbursing Section at Fort Knox, Ky. Koch, an assistant finance officer, of-ficer, is a veteran of World War H. He has served in the European theatre. l' The warrant officer holds the Commendation Ribbon. His wife, Mava, is with him at Fort Knox. Pvt. Donald F. Lee, whose wife, Marilyn, lives at 2775 Chadwick St., recently was graduated from the graves registration course at The Quartermaster School, Fort Lee, Va. Lee, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lee, 334 N. W. 15th ave., entered the Army last May and received basic training at Fort Ord, Calif. In civilian life, he attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and was a missionary with the East Central States Mission Mis-sion in Salt Lake City. The 22-vear-old soldier is a member of Service Men . . Robert K. Forman, son of Mr. and Mrs. James A. Forman, 2259 Green St., recently was promoted to specialist third class in Germany where he is an integrated fire control con-trol isystem repairman in the 150th Ordr.ance Detachment, Wiesbaden, Germany. He arrived in Europe last June. Pvt. Lester N. Jensen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Jensen, 1373 Stringham ave., recently completed the communications center operation opera-tion course at the Army's Southeastern South-eastern Signal School, Fort Gordon, Gor-don, Ga. The 18-year-old soldier entered the Army in June 1956 and completed com-pleted basic training at Fort Ord, Tau Sigma fraternity. Emanuel G. Polychronis, son of Mr. and Mrs. George T. Polychronis, Poly-chronis, 502 S. Redwood rd., recently re-cently was promoted to private first class while serving with the 44th Antiaircraft Artillery Missile Battalion at Fort Niagara, N. Y. Polychronis, a radar operator in the battalion's Headquarters Battery, Bat-tery, entered the Army in October 1955 and completed basic traing at Fort Carson, Colo. He was graduated from West High School in 1955. Calif. He is a 1956 graduate of South High School. PFC Jack T. Parkinson, son of Mr. and Mrs. George T. Parkinson, 1240 E. Whitlock, recently took part in a 28-day field training exercise ex-ercise held by the 10th Infantry Division in Germany. Parkinson is a squad leader in Company I of the division's 87th Specialist Third Class Kenneth R. Haycock, son of Hermenla A. Haycock, 1143 S. Ninth, E., is a member of the 11th Airborne Division's Di-vision's 188th Infantry Regiment in Germany. Haycock was graduated from Salt Lake City High School before entering the Army in July 1954.
