' The 80-piece orchestra composing the estminster community sympnony presented a "l ops musical to a full house Sunday alieruoon Westminster College Fine Arts Dept. The Westminster College Division Di-vision of Fine Arts held the annual an-nual Westminster Community Symphony Sunday, November 11, in the gymnasium on the college campus. Miss Angelina Kravich, contralto soloist, joined with the orchestra to sing Massenet's "Open Thy Blue Eyes," and the Rodgers and Hara-merstein Hara-merstein "If I Loved You." Professor Kenneth Kuchler, musical mus-ical director of the 80-piece orchestra, or-chestra, had the well-known "pops" conductor, Eugene Jelesnik, as guest conductor of the group. Music lovers of Salt Lake and surrounding towns filed the hall j for the outstanding event. |
