Show LUTHERAN CHURCH BUILDIIIG BEING PUSHED THIS SPRING . .Redeemer Lutheran church, is progressing rapidly with its church building program at 1955 E. Stratford Strat-ford avenue, just off 20th East, and overlooking Parley's canyon in Sugar House. The pastor's study will be at the front of the building, just off the narthex (vestibule); Sunday school rooms will be in the basement base-ment of the building, partitioned with removable walls to make the entire basement available for social gatherings. The building will feature two huge cast stone crosses on the tower, six feet wide and 18 feet high. It is a modern design, with a flat roofed entry, flanked by Roman brick piers and glass panels. pan-els. The low pitch roof of the church proper will be supported by unusual three-hinge wood trusses.
