So 11th Eat City Wilford Stake's FUN-da Affair Stars Pioneer Davs f I V In spite of newly organized leadership from the bishop on down in four wards, Wilfod stake carnival plans are hurtling forward for-ward as wards are outfitting their wagons preparatory to the FTJNda trek from Nauvoo to Salt Lake on July 23 and 24 at the carnival grounds at Libby Edwards school. An added feature will be the awarding of a prize of ?25 to one ward for the best presentation of original words to the Parm FUNda Song, which was written by Norman G. Berndt, to the tune of True to the Faith. Each ward will write a new verse about the stake welfare farm and have a ward member sing it at the carnival Thursday, July 24. There are no resrictions as to size of the group, so a ward may present its song as a solo, or may have the whole ward sing. Mrs. Rex Reeve, reports a number num-ber of novel enterprises which are being used by various wards to raise the money necessary to outfit out-fit their wagons. Imperial ward MIA has prepared pre-pared a number of clever posters which are placed in the meeting house to advertise its candy sale. Wilford stake is selling cup cakes.
