Show be furnished by Neil Weight's Band. A king will be selected by ballot and will be crowned at the dance. Admission charge will be $1.75 a couple and the students of Olympus High extend an invitation to anyone that would like to attend. SOPHOMORE CLASS PARTY A sophomore class party is in store for all sophomores of the school, Friday, December 21. The theme will be based around "Christmas Wonderland" and will be under the direction of the sophomore sopho-more class officers: Steve Cook, Carole Cooper, Judy Rowe, Kay Osborne, and Pat Davies. SURPRISE PARTY HELD Outside of the usual Christmas and holiday parties, a surprise farewell party was held last Tuesday, Tues-day, December 4, for one of Olympus' Olym-pus' peppy senior girls, Ann Pecli-man, Pecli-man, who has moved to Denver. Kathy Howard acted as hostess and furnished her home for the evening. Nance Merrill furnished games for the group and food was brought by all those who attended. As a token of friendship they presented pre-sented Ann with a white beaded sweater and earings to match. Party goers included: Anne Goalen, Carolyn Howard, Pat Sims, , Peggy Hansen, Pat Steele, Linda Daughters, Mardy Elggren, Wilna Wagstaff, Margaret Walton, Nola Messinger, Joan Summerhays, Diane Routh, Jessie LeSieur, Sharon Stillman, Judy Moyes, Karen Halfhill, Mrs. Judy Jones, Dorothy Walton, Deena Sherman, Joan Lasater, Ann Richardson, Julie Roberts, Joanne Tyler, Jean-ette Jean-ette Thurgood, and Ruth White. OLYMPUS HIGH By Kathleen Hinckley "Silver Solitude' this is the theme of this years Girl's Dance sponsored by the Girl's Association of Olympus High School. This dance will be the Christmas dance and will be held next Friday, Dec. 14. Each girl is anxiously awaiting await-ing that evening when she will adorn herself in her favorite formal and escort her handsomest beau to the dance floor. Ruth White, president of the Girl's Association, is in charge, with other officers, Sherry Smith, Veffl Ann Lenroot, Deena Sherman, Kathy Kilpack, Judie Davis, and Nancy Stevens, serving as committee com-mittee chairmans.
