Show the busiest group in the entire school. Friday, December 7, was the deadline for all suggestions for the cover of the yearbook to be handed in. The art classes are responsible re-sponsible for selecting the best cover which will be used. Some of our future seamstresses are entering the "Make It Yourself Your-self With Wool" home sewing contest. con-test. The contest is sponsored jointly by the Women's Auxiliary of the National Wool Growers' Association and the Wool Bureau. Miss Walz, clothing teacher, suggested sug-gested the girls enter. Among those participating in this contest are Sue Garner, Shawna Taylor and RayAnn Wood. HIGHLAND HIGH Dotti Duncan, Reporter Busy is the word! The students of Highland High have found this week filled with activities and things to plan. Each home room has been discussing ideas for their Christmas parties and room decorations. deco-rations. Ornaments, shiny tinsel and all sorts of gaily colored balls are being donated by each room for our Christmas tree which will be in the main foyer. Our Christmas Christ-mas dance is scheduled for Dec. 20. Both the assembly club and the ski club have parties planned for the weeks ahead. The drama club is learning the fundamentals of good acting under the supervision of Mr. Slight. The yearbook staff is possibly 1 |
