Show COPS BASEBALL LEAGUE AWARDS MADE Trophies were on display this week in the Sugar House police division station as two championship champion-ship teams showed their awards, fruits of their efforts in the Cops league. Fred Thurgood, 14, and a pitcher of no mean curves, brought in the Christensen Diamond Products trophy, tro-phy, and Bob Dropovich, 14, a catcher, showed the Moose lodge prize. Doug Muir is manager of Chris-tensen's Chris-tensen's and Carl Hills is top man at Moose lodge. Willie Stoler, patrolman, headed the Cops league delegation in charge of the 1955 summer play. |
