Show and has served on the Women's Recreation Assn. carnival committee. commit-tee. Milicent Holbrook served on the University of Utah homecoming committee which staged the gala festivities for students and alumni last weekend in Salt Lake City. Miss Holbrook is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eyerett L. Holbrook, :s;i9 So. 2110 East, Salt Lake City, Utah. A Sophomore at the University of Utah, Milicent is a graduate of Olympus Hisrh School. "Teen-Talkers" Karen Heaton, 3520-12th East, this week won an assignment as a University of Utah songleader for the remainder of the year. A university sophomore and an Olympus High School graduate, Karen is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Heaton, 3520-12th East. She won the songleader assignment assign-ment by tryout. For the remainder of the football season she will serve as an alternate songleader. At Olympus, she was a 1955 student body officer and a Girls State representative. At the university, uni-versity, she is a ski team member Charlotte Sheffield, former "Miss Sugar House," reigned as queen of homecoming festivities, which featured fea-tured traditional house decorations, skits and quartets contests and the Utah-Idaho football game. The queen and her attendants, Ann Thurgood and Kathleen Pinnock were honored at the homecoming dance Saturday night at which the nationally known quartet the "Four Freshmen" sang. Ruth Cline and JoAnn Cawlings were co-chairmen of the homecoming home-coming festivities. Barrv Ouinn of Holladav. alsr served on the University of Utah homecoming committee. Mr. Quinn is a son of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Quinn, 2512 Haven Lane, Holladay, Utah. A Senior at the University of Utah, Barry is a graduate of Granite High School. |
