Show RELIEF SOCIETY BIRTHDAY AFFAIR DATED The Relief Society of East Mill Creek will celebrate a birthday dinner in its ward Friday evening at 7 o'clock, Mrs. Eileen Dunyon, president, announced this week. The annual affair will feature a banquet, stage and variety show with Ralph Pitts as master of ceremonies. Decorations will have a spring decor in colors of pink and green. Dainty dolls in pink taffeta, ribbon and net representing the Relief Society ladies, will stand under green peach trees also blossoming with pink buds. The novel decorations decora-tions have been worked out by Mrs. Lillian Debenham who also selected pottery favors for the guests. Program chairmen are Mrs. Ethel Eth-el Pitts and Mrs. Claire Morris while Mrs. Carrie Noorda is in charge of refreshments. Invitations are under the direction direc-tion of Mrs. Cloie Burbidge while overall arrangements are directed by Mrs. Dunyon, Mrs. Nina S. Neff and Mrs. Barbara Beesley. Youthful ushers for the affair will be Linda Barney, Joleen Dunyon, Dun-yon, Dorothy Hill and Carol Jensen. Jen-sen. During the evening each Relief Society member will contribute a gift as part of a permanent display dis-play which will be sold at later dates for the society's fund. |
