Show The designers of teen-age styles I are saying it with flowers this spring: flowers on the shoulders, tucked in at the belt, in the hair and peeking from a gathered-up hemline on the popular full petticoat. Soda pop and cookies were served, with leaders from the various var-ious high schools as hostesses. As popular piano and juke box music played, clever comments on girls and styles wer made by the teen-agers own Elaine Cannon. TEEIJ FASHIONS PARADE AT KO'B SHOW Now it can be said "It Was the Time of Their Life," by the teens, at that smart fashion show at Keith O'Brien's Friday afternoon. All those lovely teen-agers modeled mod-eled the dreamy looking fashions chosen by Mrs. Courtney and Elaine Cannon from the KO'B stock of new spring designs. What could be more dramatic for this smart set than the coronation coro-nation influence in starid-up collars I on date dresses and brilliant rhine- stones glittering on formals and I even this year's bathing suit. The models looked like princesses themselves, as they paraded in styles for school time, play time, I dating and formal, before the large gathering of moms and fashion-wise fashion-wise teens. Among the models were dark haired Karen Hutchinson, in arno canvas fabric suit, and Jewel Ainsworth, strikingly appealing in the toredor styled sports costume of the ever popular denim. Another sports model was Carol Larsen in blue jeans, red, white and blue terry cloth shirt and white jockey cap, set off by her brush-up brush-up hair do. Carol also modeled a paper taffeta taf-feta date dress. |
