Show Holladay Men Active in Sons of Utah Pioneers Tow Holladay men, Dr. Leslie Les-lie D. Burbidge and Henry VS. Florence, are advisory board members of the Sugar House Sons of Utah Pioneers. The chapter has been set up to serve the entire southeast area, and members from Holladay are especially es-pecially invited to affiliate, according ac-cording to Horace A. Sorensen, president. To be eligible for SUP membership, mem-bership, a man must be over 18 years of age, and a descendant of at least one pioneer who came to Utah before the coming of the railroad, May 10, 1869. Of special interest to Holladay Holla-day residents is that the 1949 Encampment of the SUP will be held at Brighton, thus focusing focus-ing statewide attention on one of Holladay's scenic wonders. |
