Rian Taggart, popular New York model, demonstrates the strength of - a new "super-tensile" music string. It was made from the world's strongest steel wire, perfected per-fected at Worcester, Mass., Works of American Steel and Wire Company, Com-pany, a subsidiary of U. S. Steel. The string is designed for violin, tenor banjo and guitar. The wire has more than twice the tensile strength of the individual strands spun into cables that support the San Francisco-Oakland Bay bridge in California. |
