Show I S. L. County DUP Elects Officers I Elections for Salt Lake County Coun-ty Company, Daughters of Utah Pioneers, were held Monday, April 26, at which time six presiding pre-siding officers were reelected for two-year terms. In the meeting at Barratt Hall Mrs. Vern N. Reese was named president pres-ident for the second consecutive time. Officers who will assist Mrs. Reese in guiding Salt Lake County DUP affairs for the 1948-'49-'50 term are: Mrs. Florence Flor-ence R. Ellison, first vice president; pres-ident; Mrs. Ella H. Smith, second sec-ond vice president; Mrs. Sylvia C. Steiner, treasurer and Mrs. Maude M. Margetts, recording secretary. These women also the offices for the two years preyiously. New board members were also elected at the .meeting. They are: Mrs. Ruth Miller, corresponding corre-sponding secretary; Mrs. Hazel V. Spencer, chaplain, Mrs. Celia W. Morrison, registrar; Mrs. Margaret Keinke, historian; Mrs. Lottie A. Brown, custodian of relics; Mrs. Lottie C. Hammond, chorister and Miss Beatrice Da-vies, Da-vies, organist. Mrs. Ensign Smith, second vice president of the group announced an-nounced that all copies of the book published by the group "Tales of a Triumphast People," had been sold. |
