Miss Dorothy Hope Piatt whose approaching marriage ' to Willis John Handley is announced by her parents. I Prominent S. H. Couple Weds Mr. and Mrs. Francis Piatt, 2264 Twentieth East have proudly annotinced the engagement engage-ment and approaching marraige of their daughter, Miss Dorothy Hope Piatt. t The talented young southeast-erner southeast-erner will become the bride of . - Willis John Handley, April 3, in the Salt Lake temple. Elder Harold B. Lee, of the Council of the Twelve, will perform the nuptial ceremony. The attractive bride-elect and her benedict will be honored at a wedding reception ' on the night of the wedding. The Garden Gar-den Park ward will be the scene of the festivities. Dorothy has asked Mrs. John Smith to stand as matron of honor. Other bridal brid-al attendants include Mrs. Fred W. Babbel, Mrs. Howard Al-brechtson, Al-brechtson, Miss NaNette Egbert, Eg-bert, Miss Irene Cummins of Chatham, Ontario, Canada, and Miss Jessie Mitchell, also of Canada. Ca-nada. Excitedly preparing to serve as flower girls are Dorothy's Doro-thy's nieces, little Miss Lynette Piatt and Miss Maralee Piatt. Alvin L. Handley will be best man for his brother. A talented commercial artist, Miss Piatt received her training .at the University of Utah. She has completed, an Eastern Canadian Ca-nadian mission.' Mr. Handley, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Fred Handley, 1125 Sherman Avenue, Ave-nue, served in the Seabee division di-vision of the Marines during the war years. |
