Show Paint Pot Notes Birthday Thirteen years of operation in "ugar House "each year better Than the last," will be noted by the Paint Pot with a birthday celebration Monday, and the general public is invited to drop in and have a piece of birthday birth-day cake, says Sid Ottley, who operates the establishment. Formerly in the lumber business, bus-iness, Mr. Oftley" opened the Paint Pot on the south side of 21st S. where the Maxwell Jewelry Jew-elry is now located, in 1933, and about six years ago moved to his present location just south of the post office. Sid has been a loyal Sugar House booster throughout the years, and has taken an active part in every civic and public endeavor, and has well lived up to "his store's motto, "Make the World Brighter." Bright-er." His sons, Verio and Wayne are associated with him in the business, and his daughter, Lael. pitched in during the war years and did her part. She will be married in May to Mar-tell Mar-tell Petterson, now in the navy. The Bulletin and all of Sugar House extend congratulations and best wishes' for the firm's continued success. |
