Show Newly Married Robert E. Borg Couple Feted at Garden Reception After Temple Rites In the lovely garden of Mr. and Mrs. George Aposhian, 3008 South 1845 East, the newly married mar-ried Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Borg greeted their friends at a reception on Tuesday evening. The young couple was married that morning in the LDS Temple Tem-ple by Mark E. Petersen. Immediately following the wedding a breakfast was given by the parents of the groom, Mr. and Mrs. David J. Borg, 1120 Wilson Avenue, at the Doll House. For the reception, the bride who is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Aram Plowgian, 1157 Wilmington Avenue, wore a gown of white satin fashioned with a yoke and bodice of imported im-ported lace. Her full skirt fell into a cathedral train and her bouquet was of orchids and gardenias. gar-denias. Mrs. Kenenth J. Hansen and Mrs. Blair L. Smith, matron ma-tron of honor and attending matron, wore pastel gowns of Moire taffeta with clever bonnets bon-nets and matching bouquets. Bridesmaids Mary Borg, Dwan Jacobsen and Lois Aposhian wore similar gowns. John Borg was best man for his brother. Ushers were Max Olsen, Harold Smith, Norman Whitney and Robert Plowgian. Payette Lakes in Idaho will be the scene of the honeymoon for the young couple. For her going away outfit the bride wore a bright red tailored suit with black accessories. |
