Show A Happy Birthday Party I Twelve youngsters were on hand to help Fatricia Cowles eel- ! ebrate her seventh birthday Friday, Fri-day, Sept. 12. The little birthday girl has shared birthday party honors with her school chum, Shiela Sullivan, daughter of the P. J. Sullivans every year at school until this year. Patty's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Cowles, moved to 13S5 E. 21st South, this year and so Shiela and Patty are now gong to different school. But that still didn't make any difference. differ-ence. Shiela came along to the party and was given an extra big slice of the fancy, rose-bedecked cake that boasted seven pink candles and a birthday greeting from Patricia. The younger younger set gathered at the Cowles home after school and played games outside 'til dinner time. Then ! they were lined up according to I size and to the accompaniment of Mr. Cowles' accordian they marched into a special buffet supper. Getting top preference on the birthday present list was Patty's new lunch basket which means she can spend the noon hour in chummy association with her new friends out here. Patty loves her new grey coat. with its I red plaid lined hood and matching match-ing slacks that will keep her warm this winter. Singing "Happy Birthday, Patty," before the cake was cut were Elizabeth and Martha Waters, Wa-ters, Seila and Colleen Sullivan, Sliawna Rae and Randy Garrett, Gar-rett, Bonnie and Nancy Ross, j Judy Knerr, Louise Manwaring, Robert Shepherd and Vickie I Ann Jones. |
