Show I East. He and his bride will make their home in Salt Lake . City when, they return from a short honeymoon. Darlene Mae Strom Weds One of the season's important weddings in the southeast area took place recently at the home of Mr. and Mrs. B. Martin Strom 1635 Blaine avenue. Mr. Strom gave his daughter, the former Miss Darlene Mae Strom, in mariage to John Brand. The young couple recited their vows in a beautiful ceremony cere-mony performed by Paul A. Newmeyer. They stood before an improvised alter in the artistically artis-tically decorated living room. The bride was escorted to her groom on the arm of her father and she was radiant in a gown of slipper satin with court-length court-length train and leg of mutton sleeves. Chantilly lace bordered her finger-tip veil. She carried a shower of roses. The oridal attendants were gowned in pastel frocks of silk marquisette. They were Mrs. Evelyn R. Moss, Mrs. Lawrence Blunk, Miss Gladys Brand and Miss Elaine Rapp. Leonard Brand was best man for his brother. Mr. Brand is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Brand, 1855 11th |
