Show QiVRK' THAT ' DRIFTWOOD Kenwood Ward Slates Parade,1 Banquet and Show in April a building program are being circulated currently among the 500 homes in Kenwood Ward. The tickets carry the message that "There's No Driftwood in Kenwood." PARADE OX APRIL 20 A "gigantic" parade is being planned as a publicity stunt for Thursday. April 20 at 6 p.m.. according to A. W. "Mickey" Hart, ticket chairman. The parade pa-rade will travel through the streets of the ward led by the Magna drum and bugle corps. The corps will be followed bv a sound truck, then a float with the Kenwood Queen, and concluded con-cluded with the Boy Scouts. The slated for Wednesday. Funds raised from the banquet ban-quet and program c April 26 will le used to construct new facilities on the present Grand-view Grand-view Ward chapel so that the two wards can use it permanently, perma-nently, according to Bishop Aposhian. There will be a new kitchen located conveniently next to the amusement hall; a new Relief Society room: a new chapel for the junior Sunday school: and new classrooms. j COMMITTEES XAMHD Bishop Aposhian is general chairman of the event.
