Show NARROW ESCAPE CHAS. WIATT MIRACULOUSLY ESCAPES ES-CAPES DEATH IN CAR ACCIDENT. On learlng work at 8 o'clock Thursday Thurs-day morning, Charles Wlatt, nlg'.it dispatcher at the Bingham A Garfield depot drove his Nash coach on the dugway Just south of the Utah Copper office. The car shot down the steep precipice which Is more than 90 degrees, de-grees, over rock and brush, and landed land-ed against the R. C. Gemnvell Memorial Memor-ial Club building. Wiatt was hurled out of the car as it rolled over and landed in a small bunch of oak brush which Is the only growth on the rock that forms the mountainside at this place. He was unhurt except fer one or two siight scratches and a slight bruise on his left shoulder. According to the watchman who saw the accident the car was proceeding at a mod'at' rate of speed when it left the -oad.
