Show Reception Honors Mr. mid Mrs. Richard C. Wood Following Marriage i with a corsage of white blossoms. blos-soms. Mrs. Wood wore blush pink with pink roses in her corsage. cor-sage. Stephen P. Smoot was best man. For her going away suit the new Mrs. Wood chose yellow gold with navy accessories. They will honeymoon in Yel-lowstone Yel-lowstone Park. "Pine Wood," the Wood's summer home in Pinecrest will be home for the young couple when they return. They will move into Salt Lake in the fall. Friday evening in the Yale Ward a wedding reception honored hon-ored the newly married Mr. and Mrs. Richard C. Wmod, who were married Friday morning in the Salt Lake Temple ' by Elder Mark E. Petersen of the Council of the Twelve. The bride is the daughter of Mr-and Mr-and Mrs. Casper H. Parker, 1603 Fifteenth East aid the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George G. Wood, 952 Kensington Kensing-ton Ave. Wedding Breakfast Immediately following the marriage rites a wedding breakfast break-fast given by the parents of the groom honored the couple at the Country Club. For her reception the charm- j ing bride chose a model of French imported chantilly lace over satin. It was styled with a smoothly fitted bodice and a full lace overskirt. The lace sleeves were fitted to a point at the wrist. Her veil was caught to a picture hat of French netting net-ting and was trimmed with orange or-ange blossoms. Her bouquet was a delicate pink orchid surrounded sur-rounded with white roses. Attendants A 'tending the bride were: Mrs. Gene McCoun, matron of honor: Miss Annette Parker, maid of honor; Miss Mary Ellen Wood and Miss Martha Nelson. Thc.y wore eyelet pique gowns in pastel shades fashioned alike and carried complementing bouquets of carnations. Mrs. Parker, the mother of the hrkle wore a poudre blue crepe gown for the reception |
