Show Infant Saved by Local Police Sugar House policemen assigned as-signed to the life-saving resus-citator resus-citator this week answered their 27th call since the equipment equip-ment was installed last summer. sum-mer. Tuesday's call was the fifth since Nov. 1. Dramatic emergency work was performed by local officers E. H. Merrill and Don B. Pearson Pear-son when they were summoned to 2159 S. 17th South at 4:35 p.m. Tuesday. When they arrived in the emergency vehicle, car 91, Mrs. Blaine H. Levedahl was holding her two-year-old son, Joseph William, in her arms. The infant had ceased breathing. The officers applied the resusci-tator resusci-tator and inhillator and the child started breathing again. Dr. J. O- Brewerton arrived and examined the infant. He released releas-ed the police officers at 5 p.m.. after child had fully recovered. Wednesday Dec. 1, officers F. Baker and F. Christiansen raced to the home of Clyde Riches who was suffering from a heart attack. Police and firemen were , unsuccessful in their attempts to revive the victim. Dr. Maurice Mau-rice J.
