Show Hallowe'en Fete Set at Libbie Edward The whole neighborhood is invited to the Libbie Edward School's annual Halloween party, sponsored by the teachers teach-ers and PTA Association of the school. More than twelve hundred hun-dred parents and children are expected this year. Purpose of the Oct. 31 entertainment-filled evening is to give the children of the Libbie Edward district something to do on the annual mischief making mak-ing holiday, according to com--t mittee chairmen, Mr. Morris Cannegeiter and Mr. Joseph Hansen. Entertainment All kinds of entertainment will be provided, including games, fortune telling, picture show, ring throwing, carnival games, story-telling and puppet show. Box dinners will be served. Candy and ice cream will be sold according to Mrs. Vondella Savage, publicity chairman. Assisting in the arrangements are: Mrs. James Ure, PTA mem-ber mem-ber in charge of the box lunch- -J es; teachers Mr. Adrian Thomas and Mrs. Enid Brown, concessions, conces-sions, and Mrs. Grace Rowley and Mrs. Shirley Porath, teachers, teach-ers, entertainment. School principal prin-cipal is Mr. F. Earl Walker. |
