Show Prominent Local Businessman Takes New Post in Wyoming Leaving Monday to take over the managership of the furniture furni-ture department of the Union Mercantile and Supply Co. in Rock Springs, Wyo., was Lyman Ly-man . Lawrence, well known local lo-cal businessman who for the past two years has been associated asso-ciated with Sterling Furniture Company as a salesman. Mr. Lawrence took over his new duties du-ties Tuesday morning. The Union Mercantile and Supply Co. is a prominent clothing, grocery and furniture establishment establish-ment in Rock Springs. Mr. Lawrence wiil leave his family in Sugar House for the time being. His wife is the former Jeanne Castleton of this city. They have four daughters: Sharon, 13, and Jeanie, 12, who attend the Irving High; and Carolyn. 10, and Nancy, 7. who are students at the Forest School. The Lawrences live in the Sterling Apartments. A native of Sugar House, Mr. Lawrence has been in the furniture fur-niture business a number of years. His father owned the Eldredge-Hatch Furniture Co. Mr. Lawrence was formerly associated as-sociated with the C. C. Anderson Ander-son stores in Idaho and spent over two vears in Alaska. This year he served as a member of the local Red Cross committee. |
