Show Ray V. Zobrist Receives LDS Mission Call Leaving in April to serve as an LDS missionary in the Netherlands Neth-erlands is Ray V. Zobrist, son oi Mr. and Mrs. Herman Zobrist, 2006 Douglas St. Mr. Zobrist will be honored at a missionary farewell Sunday, March 21, 5 p.m. at the Sugar House Ward chapel, 1950 So. 12th East. Ray Zobrist will be the tenth missionary mis-sionary in the field from Sugar House Ward at the present time. Entering the mission home April 12, Mr. Zobrist will remain re-main there until April 21 when he will leave for New York City. He will sail for the Netherlands Neth-erlands as soon as his passage is cleared. Mr. Zobrist attended local schools, graduating from Garfield, Gar-field, Irving Junior High and South High School. In January, 1946, he entered the service. In August, 1947, he was released from U. S. Army duty, having spent most of his 19 months in Texas with the 384th AAA Gun Batallion of the 4th Army.
