DID YOU NOTICE how the bad weather held off until Sugar Days were nearly over? Some people claimed we .bribed the weatherman. We'll have to admit ad-mit that we sweetened him with a quantity of sugar, along with all the bargains. A BATHING SUIT made from a sugar sack draped over a mannikin in Jarnel's window was the cynosure during Sugar Days last weekend. We complimented compli-mented Frankie Nielson on the nice job she did, and she said that the suit was even more attractive at-tractive when it was worn by a live model over TV a few nights before. Frankie's creation was just one example of the many good ideas which made 1951's Sugar Days a huge success. A BIG REPLICA of a sugar sug-ar sack graced the center of the Plaza during the celebration. celebra-tion. Designed and installed by the Utah-Idaho Sugar Co., the replica attracted a lot of favorable attention from thou sands of shoppers. Thanks go to Howard Tinipson of the sugar company.
