Show Vera Cahoon Weds K. W. Christensen Another prominent southeast couple joined the "newly-married" ranks Friday, Nov. 9, when they recited wedding vows in the Salt Lake LDS Temple The lovely bride, the former Miss Vera Cahoon, is the daughter dau-ghter of Mr and Mrs Ray S Cahoon, 1479 9th East, and the groom is Keith W Christensen, son of Mr and Mrs W. E Christensen, 833 Harrison Ave After the double-ring wedding ceremony which was performed by Harold B Lee, the couple was honored at a beautifully appointed ap-pointed wedding breakfast at Hotel Utah's Empire Room, given by the parents of the groom A lovely evening reception was held at the Garden Park LDS ward The bridal party presented pre-sented a beautiful picture in ail-white ail-white gowns, standing before an embankment of white daisies and red carnations The bride was attired in traditional satin en train, with a net yoke trimmed trim-med in seed pearls, drop waist effect, and tiny buttons down the back. The lovely attendants wore white, with matching white gloves Mrs Rhoda Cahoon was matron of honor; Mrs Bert Dun-lop, Dun-lop, a sister of the bridegroom; Miss Cathrine Hatch; and Mrs Richard Hampshire were bridesmaids brides-maids Scarlet ribbons over their arms caught basket-like bouquets of scarlet carnations Lorin Fiksted acted as best man. A gown of black jersey complimented com-plimented by red sequin belt and a gardenia and rose corsage was worn by Mrs. Christensen. Mrs Cahoon wore a lame gown with a black skin and flesh-codored top. accented by a corsage of red roses. Assisting with the guest book was another sister of the bridegroom, bride-groom, Miss Jean Christensen An out-of-town guest for the wedding was Mrs Rodney Morrison. Mor-rison. After the honeymoon the young couple wall make their home in Salt Lake City. |
