She is Elizabeth Bryan, 20-year-old Salt Lake City girl who won a grand prize in the 1949 "Make It Yourself With Worl" Home Sewing Contest sponsored by The Wool Bureau and the Women's Auxiliary of the National Wool Growers Association. Miss Bryan is shown here studying at New York City's Traphagen School of Fashion, to which she won a year's scholarship with an evening ensemble of white virgin wool crepe of her own design which she modeled in the third annual home sewing contest. |
