OCR Text	Show A. C. Smoot Enjoys Birthday Party A. C. (Bert) Smoot, one of the founders of Sugar House, was honored at a surprise party, the occasion being his birthday Anniversary. An-niversary. Neighbors, friends and relatives met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Orlin J. Hansen, 2133 Berkley street, and then proceeded proceed-ed to the Smoot home. An autobiography auto-biography of "Ma Smoot" was read by I. A. Smoot, postmanster of Salt Lake, remarks of congratulations congratu-lations and reminiscence of other days were in order. A huge birthday cake and other oth-er refreshments topped off (he evening.
