Show Idaho Foremost in Use Of State's Power Plants MOSCOW, IDAHO. Although only a tenth of the state's power resources re-sources have been developed, Idaho uses 2 to 2V4 times as much electricity elec-tricity per person as the rest of the United States. A University of Idaho professor, J. Hugo Johnson, says 64 per cent of occupied Idaho farms have electric service, compared with a national average of less than 28 per cent. Reason for the heavy use of electricity elec-tricity in the state, says Johnson, is a pow er rate of 2 cents per kilowatt-hour, kilowatt-hour, half the national average of 4 cents. |
