Show Selective Service 3RD REGISTRATION DAY FEBRUARY 16, 1942. Arrangements are being completed com-pleted for the third registration for Selective Service on February 16, 1942, under the direction of the various local boards in Utah, according to Lt. Colonel R. A. Rich Director of Selective Service in Utah. Every male citizen in the United Unit-ed States who became 20 by December Dec-ember 31, 1941 to and inclusive of those who have not yet attained attain-ed the age of 45 on February 16, 1910 and July 1, 1941, respectfully-Volunteer registrars are being recruited to conduct the registration registra-tion under the direction of the members of the various local boards and their clerks. Registration hours will be from 7 a. m. to 9 p. m. and employers are urged to make arrangements for their employees to be off work if necessary, to accomplish their registration. If impossible to register reg-ister on February 16th, arrange-mnets arrange-mnets can be made with the local board for an advance registration during the week preceeding February Feb-ruary 16. Subsequent registration ' dates will be announced for those men between the ages of 18 and 64 who are also required to register under the Selective Service law, as recently amended, so that the entire manpower of the Nation will be registered and available for what whatever emergency may arise in the prosecution of the war effort. ond place in the league. Goodro for 629, and O. Wikane rolled a nice 245 game. This week Sugar Bowl had 951 for high game, but Al's Barbecue led by Eddie Fortresse's pretty 641 had 2673 for high eer-ies. eer-ies. Ash Cox of New Art Light-really Light-really got hot for one game, nine in a row netting him 258 in a 610 series. Sugar Bowl still leads the league, closely followed by Sugar House Merc and Sugar House Coal. |
