Show (Salt Lake County jWell Represented At Summer School The Southern part of Salt Lake County represented itself gener-on gener-on Summer School registration day at the University of Utah. Exceeding all other sections out- 'side the City in number of registrants, regis-trants, this section placed 12 teachers in the University for the ' summer work. I From Murray, Clinton P. Smith, ninth grade teacher enrolled for courses in English and German. Credit for these classes will be applied toward a Master of Arts degree. Earl P. Wixom, art teach- ' er of Murray High school, will 'study art, English, and education. Donald R. Narcroft, of Hilla-day, Hilla-day, will take courses in education in preperation for the Master, of Arts degree, and Arthur C. Clark, 'principal of the Holladay school has also enrolled in education classes. Reed H. Beckstead, of Sandy, who teaches mathamatics, science and English in the Bingham High , School in Copperton, will study educational methods, while Don A. Orton and Venna Jensen, both iirWoT-nrhisitp ctndents from San- dy will study Education, English, and speech. Registered from Granite School district are Veva Burgon, Reed Clark, Vaughn W. . Clayton of Magna School, Claire Alston, Forrest For-rest H. Greene of Granite High School, Marie Davis, Murray kindergarten kin-dergarten teacher, and Olive Luc-the Luc-the Garfield school. |
