Show Congratulations e i ' - w- I 1 This week The Sugar House Bulletin dedicates it's Birthday Congratulations'' column . to another an-other employee of the Utah Light and Traction Company, Mr. Walter Wal-ter Gehring who celebrated the thirty-first anniversary of his birth, Tuesday, July 1, 1941. Mr. Gehring is a native. son of Salt Lake City and has resided here the greater part of his life. As a youth he attended various city elementary schools and the Granite High School. After completing com-pleting his schooling he went to California in quest of a lucrative occupation and obtained a job with the Cambell Construction Company for whom he woi ked , six months before returning to i Salt Lake to accept a mission call. j The next two vears he sper.t in j Germany as an L. D. S. Missionary. Mission-ary. When he returned in 193-1 he j secured a job as warehouseman with the Mountain States Supplv , Company nnd after wc.rkir.jr in this capacitv for a phort time, he I was transferred to the ffie where he worked for a year as a clerk before demitting to join the ranks at the Traction Company. Com-pany. Mr. Gehring is an inveterate football and baseball fan. al through during the past year he has been unable to take in a single sin-gle game due to the fact that he is an extra operator' and ctnse-quently ctnse-quently subject to call and work at all times. After Mr. Gehring completes one year of service with the Company, however, he will be; made a regular operator and assigned a regular route and shift, which will enable him to make up for lost time. Mr. Gehring is married and resides with his wife at 4206 South 9th East. "The Bulletin" also wishes to extend congratulations to Mr. I. H. Patterson, of 7S1 S'.mpson Avenue, who celebrated his hirth-d-v Wedr.cf'lay June. 2r.d. |
