Show Hiram Younsr Wins Membership Drive I A ilk tj Hiram c. Young, was announced announc-ed winner of the Sugar House Chamber of Commerce membership member-ship contest at the group's regular reg-ular luncheon Wednesday noon at Hall-Rogers Cafe in Sugar House. Mr. Young is attendance chairman chair-man and a director of the Chamber, Cham-ber, turned in six memberships during the contest month, closing clos-ing June 25. Second place and honors went to E. L. Taggart (Ted) as prizes Mr. Young was awarded an engraved en-graved life-time fountain pen, and Mr. Taggart with a filler pencil. Ten new members were gained during this drive, with several more expected to join in the near future, New firms represented will be: Kunick Furniture Company; Crown Cleaning Company; Western West-ern Auto Supply Company; Travelers Trav-elers Oil Company; Laura Larson Lar-son Ice Cream Company; Elkins Planing Mill; Otto Buehner Company; Com-pany; H. Clawson Silver; Williams Wil-liams Building Company and Jacobson's Wasatch Service. 8 |
