Public Health A total of 359 cases of communicable com-municable disease was reported to the Division of Epidemiology, Utah State Board of Health for the wfek ending May 23. This is a 162 cases fewer than were reported re-ported for the previous week and 497 cases fewer than were report-led report-led for the corresponding week one year ago. German measles still lead list of communicable diseases with a total of 128 cases. However, this is 17 cases fewer than were reported re-ported last week. Five cases of diphtheria were reported as followes: Salt Lake County 1, Salt Lake City 2, and Prove- City 2. Two of the five cases cas-es are adults. One case of Rocky Mountain Spotted fever was reported from Uintah County. The patient is 61 years of age and his occupation 1 is listed as cattle raising and farming. The patient expired May 20, 1941. This is the second fatality fa-tality from spotted fever this year. . One case of tularemia was also reported from Uintah County. The patient is 21 years of age and a "woodtick" is listed as the probable source of infection. The first case of smallpox to be reported from Price. The patient pa-tient is 7 years of age.
