Show Funeral Services Held For Local Resident Funeral services for Gustave Arvid Thornwall, 66, of 1163 Blaine Avenue were conducted Thursday in the Bryan L. D. S. ward chapel. Burial was in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial park. Mr. Thornwall was. formerly employed as a carpenter for the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad Co. He was born July 5, 1874, in Lindesberg, Sweden, a son of Carl J. and Johanna Larson. He came to Utah in 1919 as a convert con-vert to the L. D. S. church. Mr. Thornwall was first counselor coun-selor in the high priests' quorum of the Bryan L. D. S. ward and was credited with organizing the Swedish L. D. S. choir. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Anna Amelia Thornwall; four sons, Arthur, Nile, Carl and Dave Thornwall; a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Eva; a brother, John Sigerstedt and 10 grandchildren, all of Salt Lake City. |
