Show 3rd Presbyterian Church Of wide interest to all church people is the annual Intermoun-tain Intermoun-tain Conference bringing together representatives of various Protestants Pro-testants groups in the Intermoun-tain Intermoun-tain regeion for study and consultation con-sultation on common problems. The Conference will met at the First Presbyterian Church Feb-2 Feb-2 to the 4. A nation wide tcampaign for $1,000,000,000 for immediate war work has been begun by the Presbyterian Pres-byterian Church n the U. S. A Causes to be aided in the new campaign will be religious work in Army camps, aid to refugees, to straned and transfered missionaries mission-aries in war areas, to "orphaned missions," China relief, and for 'the Bible Society and the Presbyterian Pres-byterian Foreign Missions. There are some 1700 Protestant Protes-tant missionaries representing the various churches in the far Eastern war zone. They are divided div-ided as follows: Japan 82, Korea 29, Japan-occupied China 861, Indo-China 56, Thailand 83, Erit-ish Erit-ish Malaya 69, Netherlands East Indies 59, Phillipine Islands 124, In addition to these there are more than 2000 missionaries in Free China, and Burma. In 1939 nearly 2 500 000 more Bibles and portions of the Bible were published than in 1937 as shown by Bureau of Census statistics.
