Show - INDEPENDENT r H ' ' Sugar House, Thursday January 23, I958-- " 'Page 5 - Easy to Do Flower Arrangements Since Sarrn Wrap was introduced to consumers several years ago homemakers everywhere have shown imagination in its use. Initially used as a refrigerator food wrap by most, it now has literally hundreds of uses. One of the most ingenious uses for thi3 transparent plastic household wrap yet suggested is in flower arrangements. Professional results can be ob-tained by crumpling as much of the wrap as necessary to hold the flowers in the desired ar-rangement. This applies to ver-tical vases. When flowers are added (even a few can be beauti-fully arranged) they a'--e easily placed and the Saran Wrap will keep them where you want them. This is an ideal way to arrange such flowers as roses, jonquils, gladioli, daisies, tulips and iris. Most flowers you have in your garden will form an artistic ar-rangement you will be proud to display. You will now find Saran Wrap in a new box that will facilitate handling. The change in tho package has been made both in color and design. The cutter bar is now placed on the bottom of the box which allows at least two inches of the wrap to be readily available at all times. This will help keep the wrap from winding back on itself, reducing the "lost end" problem. The new box is presented in gay new colors, for-est green and chartreuse, for easy identification.
