Show Life With Lynnei me cold to watch them. Br-rrr! Bye new, Lynne (The Icicle) w - to break and then I can start over again. Basketball is getting under way again and we play Tooele High. Our motto is "We've got a date with State". Basketball may just be getting under way in the high schools, but it never stops out in my cuz Reed Jensen's backyard. He and his buddies play rain, snow, shine or blow. Tom McNair really knows how to handle that ball, and then there's that Thatch Moyle who really knows his stuff. Richard Day is surely quick on his feet, and Reed Jensen the "Old Pro". George Malouf and Sandy Dolowitz shoot baskets continually. They're all ont there without their coats and it makes Hi! Be sure to get your ice-skating and sleigh riding done before it warms up again. Even though the sky is sunny and blue it's still real cold out, even the milk is frozen in the morning. I'll guarantee you'll have fun if you go sleigh riding at Little Mountain like we did. It taJces some courage to go down those hills, (I mean mountains). They are so steep and so slick and bumpy. Have you ever had the feeling that your hands were frozen and that they kind of weren't there ? I had that feeling the other night and someone was surely busy with their"hold hand work". And to top that off, we had a hot chili dinner thrown together by two cute chefs, and then music floating over the air coming from a Hi-Fi, and a game of bingo going on. Icy-hot memory. There's another place to sleigh ride if your'e scaredy cats like my pal Val and I. It's up in East Millcreek Canyon. I went with her family. Two of her little sisters ran into a parked car's tire, but they werenVt hurt and Val said, "Did they hurt the tire." ? We started to climb what we thought was a hill, but it was really a mauntain. The sun was only shining on half of the mountain so we climed to reach the sun. When we got halfway to the top we decided to stop and what a breath-taking view. East Millcreek Canyon Road looked like it was trying to weave the lonely, forlorn, gray trees into it's spell and the sky was a beautiful blue. In front of us was a towering mountain and it looked like it was covered with crystals. I have a few more resolutions |
